June 27, 2005
Hello Friends of Freedom Park!
I hope this update finds you all happy and healthy and enjoying the beginning of summer! The Freedom Park DVDs are in stock now. We’re so sorry about the delay, but with over 80 minutes of bonus features, we can assure you that they are well worth the wait. Again, here are the special features to keep you and your children entertained for hours!
- Deleted scenes
- Outtakes
- Behind the Scenes mini-documentary on the making of the film
- Ludicrous Speed (this one is a surprise!)
- Music videos from the bands – Red Menace, Jediah, and Waiting for Sully
- Movie trailer
- Photo slideshow – photography by none other than Matt McDonald
- Writer/Director Commentary – by Jon Artigo and Chad Meserve
- Actor Commentary – by Matt McDonald, Tim Fields, and me. (Funny stuff!)
The online orders are shipping today! From here on in, we’ll be shipping internet orders every couple of weeks, so make sure to tell your friends and family to order their DVD today! In addition, for anyone who has been selling the DVDs with the forms that I e-mailed out, please call me at 310-628-3055 to arrange a time for us to get the DVDs to you and collect the money. If you have a creative idea on how to sell the DVDs or a store you’d like to see carry the DVDs, please e-mail me at andrea_orange@hotmail.com. I will be coordinating the self-distribution of the DVDs to video stores and gift shops in New England. We’ll start in central, MA and just keep going from there!
Don’t forget that the Freedom Park soundtracks are also in stock now and available for purchase. We at 3 Souls Films are extremely busy as we are in development on our next two feature films – “Other People’s Lives,” an edgy drama scheduled to shoot in Los Angeles, CA in October of 2005, and “We Got the Beat,” a teen comedy set in 1985 scheduled to shoot right here in Massachusetts in the spring of 2006. Get ready!!!!!
Have a great summer, and I hope you enjoy your Freedom Park DVD. The first time you see the character Buck (David and Johnnie’s father), played by WTAG radio personality Hank Stolz, if you press enter on your DVD remote control, you’ll get to see our little surprise footage. Shhh – you didn’t hear that from me. Hee Hee!
Peace and love,
Andrea Ajemian Producer
