Hello Freedom Park Fans!

Happy November! The cast and crew of Freedom Park have just returned from the Marco Island Film Festival in Florida where we won the Marco Island Film Festival Salutes Award! It was the last award presented at the awards ceremony and we are so excited!  (By the way, the film that won this award last year just got national distribution!) We had a great time, made lots of contacts, and even had a chance to help with their Young Filmmakers Program by presenting to many schools on filmmaking and following your dreams.

Well, the Freedom Park DVD has been delayed a bit, but we are now hard at work on the special features and it won’t disappoint!  The DVD should be out in a few months. In the meantime we are speaking with national distributors and looking at all avenues for the film.

The Freedom Park Soundtrack will be available at the end of November.  In fact, mark your calendars if you are over 21, because on Saturday, November 27th at 9:00pm, we’ll kick off the release of the soundtrack. The party will be at the Lucky Dog Music Hall on Green Street in Worcester, MA.  The five local bands featured on the soundtrack will play that evening including Red Menace, Sam Zammarelli, bootsie, Waiting for Sully, and Jediah.  There will be a $10 cover to get in, but everyone gets a copy of the soundtrack included in that price! You can’t miss it! I’m even flying back from Los Angeles for the party, so you’d better be there. The Freedom Park cast and crew will be there to promote the great bands who have been promoting the film for the past few months.  Now that’s teamwork!

Well, that’s all for now!  Hope everyone is doing well, and I look forward to seeing some familiar faces on Nov. 27th!
