Hello “Freedom Park” friends!

“Freedom Park” has had an amazing limited release in Massachusetts thus far. We did so well at Showcase Cinema North in Worcester during our opening week that our run has been extended through Thursday, September 30th and possibly longer. In addition, “Freedom Park” will open on Friday, September 24th at the new Blackstone Valley Cinema De Lux Theater in Millbury. Word of mouth regarding the film is spreading and more and more people are coming to see “Freedom Park” on the big screen! Thank you for your help and please keep spreading the word.

We’ve received great reviews from the Boston Phoenix as well as the Worcester Telegram and Gazette who gave “Freedom Park” 4 stars and called it “A Great Ride for the Entire Family!”

In addition, we have received calls from national distributors as well as television networks interested in seeing “Freedom Park” for possible distribution. We will update the website as we progress.

The “Freedom Park” soundtrack will be available in just over a month. Be sure to pre-order your copy now in the gift shop. Also look for promotional concerts in central Massachusetts featuring the bands Red Menace, Waiting for Sully, Jediah, and Trip Society.

In addition, writer/director Jon Artigo and I, along with many of our Massachusetts based cast members, have been conducting elementary and middle school presentations over the last couple of weeks. We focus our presentations on filmmaking and how to take an idea all the way to the big screen! We show a couple of scenes from “Freedom Park” and have a question and answer segment. The presentations are an hour long and feedback has been very positive from teachers and students!
