3 Souls Films

In August of 2003 Victor J. Melfa, Jr. became the Executive Producer of the film “Freedom Park.” This began his relationship with Writer/Director Jon Artigo and Producer Andrea Ajemian. The three have come together to form 3 Souls Films, an east/west coast production company. “Freedom Park” is their first film together.  Look for the following films from 3 Souls.

“El Tiante”

“El Tiante” is based on the true story of Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame Pitcher Luis Tiant, known to his fans as El Tiante.  The movie follows Luis from his childhood days in Cuba when his dad was a top pitcher for the Negro League in the U.S, to his days of playing baseball in Mexico and finding his true love. It takes us through his tough times in the minor league and dealing with racism in the United States, to finally getting his big shot playing for the Red Sox.  “El Tiante” is a film that reunites a father and son, a film that teaches us that no matter what the odds are against us, to keep pushing ahead, and a film that introduces us to a man who lived the American dream.

“The Green House Girls”

“The Green House Girls” is a documentary, road trip film following four twenty-five year old women from Los Angeles to New York in one week.  Former college friends, the girls have all chosen different paths in life yet are all are dealing with similar issues. Discussing everything from love to religion, the girls laugh and cry as their car breaks down twice, they party in Vegas, and reunite with old friends at their Alma matter. Along the way, the girls interview women they meet and get advice on life. “The Green House Girls” will touch your heart in a way that lets you know that no matter how hard life seems to be, somehow it will all be ok.

“Other People’s Lives”

“Other People's Lives” tells the story of two college roommates who begin videotaping their neighbors without their knowledge. What starts out as a harmless walk through the back ally of their apartment complex turns into an adrenaline fueled ride paved with disaster and life changing events.
